  • Central Park Zoo

  • Belvedere Castle 

Settled high on a hill, this stone castle offers a marvelous view of the city from its rooftop and of the park. There is a visitor’s center inside the castle and the surrounding terraces provide magnificent vistas. Check out the north of the castle and you will see the Delacorte Theater. Every summer, free Shakespearean productions are held in this park. The top of the castle is the point from where the weather of Central Park is measured. Keep in mind that this is not really like a castle, but a little castle, which was constructed as the lookout within the park in 1869.

  • The Lake

This man-made lake is a centerpiece of the park. At the eastern point of the park, there are the kiosk and the Boathouse restaurant. This kiosk is available to rent rowboats for drift in waters. Cast-iron Bow Bridge has stretched across the bridge before opening up to skyline and expanse of water. 

  • The Mall and Literary Walk
